Conservation

HAFFT has had numerous conservation days over the years. Here is our most recent adventure working with the Hamilton Conservation Authority.

Saturday, October 30, 2004

The club has was continuing its work of the last few years on the upper reaches Spencer Creek. Click on the sign for a full size picture, suitable for framing.
Wee trout were spotted and redds were found though it seemed to still be a bit early in the year. Thanks to all those who showed up and showed that HAFFT is serious about conservation

We had a great turnout of club members as well as other volunteers and staff from the HCA. We covered the entire river in about three hours. Click on the pic for a full size picture of the best-dressed redd counters ever.
